this time it's smudge.

she is on the floor looking up at me.

other than saturating the eyes a wee bit, the photo
is untouched. yes, she has one blue and one yellow eye.

i love when i don't have to do any alterations.
(or just a minimal amt).
it's so much more satisfying for me.

*EDIT: just wanted to say thanks to alex for the DD feature and to all who
are coming to comment and fave! :blowkiss: it's very easy to make
good photos of smudge since she is so gorgeous. all i did was snap.
also, please don't 'watch' me if you expect and wish for more
of these kinds of photos. i am basically immersed in
doing b/w street photog and candid portraits.
you won't likely see any more kitty pics here.

just a fair warning for you. ;)

Daily Deviationin a sunbeam lll by =iamkatia is such a wonderful photograph. The contrast between the feline and it's eyes is just amazing. Definitely worth a view. Such a beautiful animal. (Featured by `grubin)

hang it up on your wall and frame it. its that interesting
Looks like she's in a beheading instrument. Goodbye, poor mate, you were always a good friend.

Not to mention, that cat looks angered... or just angry that you didn't feed her. You do feed her right?

Nice! Great shot and good focus. Nice how there is nothing in the background.

Well taken!

i know i'm biased by the shadow, but wow, how can a housecat look so incredibly like a lion? it has that ferocity in the eyes, the way the fur shoots around it in a sort of halo;

and shadows are no coincidence;

this must be one noble cat.

just beautiful. what eyes.

wow.

most amazing cat photo i've ever seen, hands down. i'd -love- to have a conversation with this cat.
She is absolutely beautiful and this light is incredible........!!!!!!!!!! My favourite cat picture on dA until now....
:+fav:
i can't believe my eyes... she's just as my dear :kitty: , even with that little black dot on her nose... in a :sun: beam, her eyes look more beautiful. she'a little angel with a little anger maybe because of :sun: beam in her eyes :)
maybe.. :)

thank you. i'm glad you like it.
angered, yes. you are very perceptive with kittys. :)

i just wrote this description to a friend about this photo:

she was actually quite pissed. hahaaa..
i was sitting in my chair at the computer and she was
beside the chair on the ground. she started to scratch on the
chair which means she is going to jump up and curl onto my lap.

but i saw the sunbeam on her face, grabbed the camera next to me,
and started shooting off some frames. she is not at all amused
as comes through in the photo. ha...
thank you so much! :aww:
!!!!!!!!

thank you thank you michel!
what a big honour that you love it so much
to say it is your favourite so far.

wow.

that makes my day!! :cuddle:
